Fun morning with a Humming Bird


This weekend I was fortunate enough to get a new Nikon camera. I unpacked it and took it out on the patio to play with the buttons.

I saw this little guy having a bite to eat and thought, why not. I hadn't even set up the camera yet. And I shot them a little darker then I would have liked, but I was amazed how they came out.



Can't wait to try it again at a higher speed.


These little rascals are FAST.


I'm sure I will be taking a bunch more as time goes on.

well i didnt read you post.. so what camera did you get ? I want one too... LOL

oh if you use a faster shutter speed the wings will not have the blurr that shows the wing action.. So I like how it is.. Beautiful

Thanks Kim. No, I got a new camera. I had been using a Nikon D60 for years and finally upgraded to the Nikon D3200. Love it.
