I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.

At my age I've seen numerous smiles.
And, even caused a few.

And, I never get tired of them.

Hope your day is filled with smiles today...

see you tomorrow.

Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul.

I had to laugh to myself as I looked out on the deck this morning... there was this pot with ONE lonely little flower that came up from last year.

Even though the winter had been tough, he made it.

Our lawn turtle just looked on with pride.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Babies are such a nice way to start people.

I don't know if it's just me or what, but,
if seems to me the older I get
the faster they grow.

It would be nice to have them remain a baby just a little bit longer.

Just so we could hold them and cuddle.

seems all too soon they loose that desire.

There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.

This weekend was one of our Grandsons 6th birthday.
It was a lot of fun and I had the opportunity of taking lot of pictures. I was in heaven.

Even the sun was out.

One of the valued guests was this lovely little girl named
Finnley

( you'll get to see much more of her )

Well, the birthday boy and his sister had been drawing on the patio with their chalk. I thought I  would save it with the hope of finding a good use for it one day.

And I did. I combined the two gifts together.

sending it to Finnley's Mom.

I should have saved it for Mother's day.

I really liked the out come.

My favorite weather is bird-chirping weather. ~Terri Guillemets

Seems as if I'm in a rut or something. Lately it's either birds, baseball or flowers...hummm

but, I have never seen these little guys
lined up for a bite and they're really
quite attractive .

I'm glad they stopped by.
And I'm glad you did too.

I don't want to play golf. When I hit a ball, I want someone else to go chase it. ~Rogers Hornsby

All  week I've had the pleasure of photographing at least one baseball game a day this week.

These kids are so great.

Then I post them on line so the families and the athletes can all enjoy them with me.

at the end of season I make a DVD for the coaches.

please bare with me through the season. I know I will want to share some of the action with all of you as well...

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!"

I'm always amazed with new growth...

you can't wait for it to start...

but, by the time the weeds start in...

you wish it would slow down some.

All God's angels come to us disguised.

With tomorrow being Palm Sunday, thought I might try something of a more religious nature.

My wife has these beautiful ceramic Angels...
I put them to good use.

The ideal of calm exists in a sitting cat.

This morning I woke to an amazing surprise, the sun was shining. No rain !!!

Got up and started dancing around the kitchen like a Disney character from a classic movie...

As I started up the old coffee maker I glanced out the window

and as I  looked out to enjoy our mornings mischief makers eating their breakfast and singing...

I thought to myself what a fantastic morning...

Then all of a sudden the biggest fastest cat I have ever seen jumps up from under the  deck and EATS the bird...
Right in front of me !!!

BUMMER !!!

Youth is a disease from which we all recover.

Today was a special day.
Today one of beloved Grandsons
turned  18 years old.

It all passes so fast, it seems like yesterday...
