The more you sweat in practice, the less you bleed in battle

As most of you know, our oldest son is a track coach for one of our local High Schools.

I love to get candids when the kids least expect it...

so much fun !!

The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.

Jordan is a teammate of our Grandson.
His Mom asked me if I might take a few Senior photos for her.

It was a lot of fun.

Please enjoy sharing these with me.

If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn.

But, unfortunately, I seem to have a bumper crop already...

No silver bells..

..nor cocher shell..

or tulips in a row.

Food is an important part of a balanced diet.

So, tonight....
it was fresh Steelhead, sweet potatoes and mixed vegies

...and my honey loves me.

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.

At my age I've seen numerous smiles.
And, even caused a few.

And, I never get tired of them.

Hope your day is filled with smiles today...

see you tomorrow.

Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul.

I had to laugh to myself as I looked out on the deck this morning... there was this pot with ONE lonely little flower that came up from last year.

Even though the winter had been tough, he made it.

Our lawn turtle just looked on with pride.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Babies are such a nice way to start people.

I don't know if it's just me or what, but,
if seems to me the older I get
the faster they grow.

It would be nice to have them remain a baby just a little bit longer.

Just so we could hold them and cuddle.

seems all too soon they loose that desire.
