First snow of 2014.

Okay, I've had enough now, it can melt and go away. I had a chance to take a few pictures and even my honey made good use of my camera this morning...

We don't often get all that much snow around here, so when we do, we have to make the best of it.

We have had a lot of plants already starting to bloom and now...wow

But that's okay too. It's Sunday and I love Sundays. We get to sleep in as late as we want to. Have a great breakfast, play on the computer , and just relax all day.

My favorite part is the breakfast part. We have a tendency to slide just a little on Sundays...MMMM

If my heart last long enough, I'll see ya tomorrow.

must be our turn

I am NOT a cold ( below freezing ) cold person. How ever I would rather it be cold then too hot. So, I'm ready.

I look like I should be holding a staff and herding sheep. But, some friends are playing Soccer this weekend and I want to be ready to take pictures.

I'm now going to go practice drinking hot chocolate. See you tomorrow.

A great sport weekend

Everyone is out of their mind with the Seattle Seahawks going to the Super Bowl this Sunday. But,  that is only the beginning of our sporting weekend.

Friday night I found out that a great friend of mine who had injured his leg and was unable to play Basketball for some time. Was  back on the court this weekend.  I couldn't wait to grab my camera and watch him do his magic.

Then the next morning we had to rise and shine to eat a little breakfast before we headed out for and EARLY morning Soccer game. After a fantastic breakfast, we headed out the watch  Jacey and Natalie ( twin sisters ) play the first of the new season's Soccer games.

This whole team of young ladies are so great to watch in action. We are slowly but surely learning all the team member personally.

We are so lucky in the Northwest.

I have to admit, we have been so lucky this winter in the Northwest. We have had a few days of really cold earlier in the year, but, nothing like the midWest or the East coast.

My wife and I took a little stroll today and I just happen to have my camera  handy. Let me share a little of what we " endured" today.

We stopped my one of our many local lakes in the area.

We thought about a little picnic for lunch but with a hardy 42 degrees, we thought it might be a little COLD.

Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow.

You have to have just the right one...

My lovely wife has a taste for a perticular coffee drink that she gets at one of those large commercial stores ( Costco ). It's a frozen latte.

Now, we must have at least six store in our immediate area.  And she has tried coffee from all of them. However the one she loves the best is , of course, the fartherest away...LOL. Almost downtown Seattle. So when we go she stocks up on them and puts them in the freezer for later.

That means that once every 10 days or so we take a little road trip. I've gotten to where I really look forward to the trip. Thanks goodness the area we go to in the store is right in the front. This store is HUGE.

It's nice to know that we aren't the only one on this pilgrimage. Now matter how early or how late we get there, the place is always packed.

So much for my day today. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Super Bowl playoffs.

I am SO glad we are winding down for the Super Bowl playoffs. The whole town has gone out of their minds with all the hype. It's great , but, enough is enough.

I think if I see one more of anything in Green and Blue I am going to scream !!

But, for now we get a repreave for a couple of weeks before the big game.
Time enough to restock the goodies for the game...LOL

This has pretty much been my whole day today. And I got to enjoy it with my wife, so, all is well and good.

Hope to see you next time, thanks for stopping by.

I really dislike shopping

Not just any shopping, just ...ya , all shopping now that I think of it. And today was one of those days. The weather was sunny but cool and it was a great day to be out. Even though I'm sure I could have thought of a lot of other things I could find to do on the computer at home where it's warm.

The wife made it easier for me by narrowing down my shopping list for me. She's a peach that way. So I set off to get our groceries for the week.

coming or going, I'm not sure. I stopped long enough a long the way to snap this old barn. As I drove by it was like it was laughing at me.

Plus, I thought it was kinda cool looking.

A little futher down the road I took notice of an old bent fence post. Like he was point my way to the store...hahaha.

Oh, well, tomorrow is going to be a better day.
Playoff football games and I got LOTS of goodies at the store....LOL

Thanks for stopping by...
