I really dislike shopping

 Not just any shopping, just ...ya , all shopping now that I think of it. And today was one of those days. The weather was sunny but cool and it was a great day to be out. Even though I'm sure I could have thought of a lot of other things I could find to do on the computer at home where it's warm.

The wife made it easier for me by narrowing down my shopping list for me. She's a peach that way. So I set off to get our groceries for the week.

coming or going, I'm not sure. I stopped long enough a long the way to snap this old barn. As I drove by it was like it was laughing at me.

Plus, I thought it was kinda cool looking.

A little futher down the road I took notice of an old bent fence post. Like he was point my way to the store...hahaha.

Oh, well, tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Playoff football games and I got LOTS of goodies at the store....LOL

Sun and sports. What a day...

 Our Seattle weather has been so great this winter so far. We took in a great Soccer game with some young friends of ours... love to watch these kids play.

It's like the action never ends until they've WON.

Today has been one of those days that  just seems to NEVER end. From the time I got up  my whole days has been one big mistake. I think we have one of those from time to time.  If we want it or not...it's there to stay.

I've done my best to keep it all to myself. No sense ruining my wife's day as well.

Too cold or wet to really go out with the camera and I have taken so many pictures here at home that I don't think there is much of the house you haven't already been witness to.

So, for today I think I might pull down a movie and grab a cup of tea and just relax. Tomorrow is always better.

After years and years with the same old washing machine, we finally got us a new one. It seems funny to have ALL the knobs work. ( lol ) Now, we have to give it a test run....maybe TOMORROW.

But, in the meantime, I'm going to sit back and enjoy a few of my honey's choc. chip cookies and spot of tea and honey...

It is only the first of the year, not even the first week of the year and already we are showing signs of spring here in the Northwest. Can you believe that? Check this out.

I'm really afraid we are going to get some really cold weather in the next few weeks and kill all of these wonderful new plants.
