Morning at the market...

My honey decided she was starving for Cabbage rolls. So, for the fun of it . We went to the market to get her the freshest I could find. Only the best for my honey.

Miles of beautiful flowers greeted us as we arrived.

One of my favorite snacks is apples and cheese. I fell in love the minute I passed these bins of fresh apples of all sorts.

Every thing you can find on a vine was there for the picking.

All manners of tubers, peppers and radishes. I could hear the roast in the freezer screaming all the way from home to stop here for a little pick me up...

And there was no end to all the wonderful goodies  that could made in to unspeakable desserts

The hardest part is getting away with anything left in your wallet...

Another Season....begins

Another fun filled  season of Football is about to start up. 

Our Grandson, Beau is playing this year for a

 NEW  High School.

All new friends, all new plays to learn, all new coaches.

I love watching our Grandkids as they play through their high school years.

looks like Beau, ( in red shorts ) is one of the shortest in the group...oh,well. Dynamite comes in small packages.

 I seldom if ever allow myself in front of a camera.  When God handed out good looks I must have been behind the door...so, I gracefully found my place where I do best, behind the camera.

 We took a little road trip out to visit with one of our boys and while there I noticed his neighbors, who must not be into BBQ all that much , had set up a little stove to sit out and visit around.

Have to admit, they are pretty artistic. Hahaha.

Don't touch the chimney or you will face a fate worse then death according to the pictures.

I think someone else was hoping for a BBQ too.

Or, maybe this is what he had his eye on...

Today was one of those wet,cold, miserable days that you just want to wrap up in a blanket and forget it ever started.

It had been raining most of the morning and my honey just loves a hot Green Tea Latte' in this type of weather.

So, being the wonderful and kind husband that I am...

I went and got the spoiled little brat one.

She would have done it for me.

I pulled into the gas station to fill up and as I stood by the rear fender of my car bored to death waiting for it to fill in comes this little classic 1929 Ford Woodie.

Enjoying a stroll in town...

Ah, first week of Summer. I took a little stroll down town Auburn this morning. After the wife and I stopped at the Farmers market.

And I didn't even buy any pastries or goodies.

This is Main street East in town with all the lovely hanging plants the city takes care of.

A very old veteran establishment here in town. Nelson's is a landmark to the locals.

This lovely Seniorita was selling flowers at the market.

It was truly a fun morning.

This morning I had the pleasure of a spur of the moment shot.

As I was coming in from the car with an arm load of stuff, there was this beauty on the plant next to the door.

I ran in the house and got my camera. Thanks God, it was still there.
