Yesterday I had eye surgery to remove a cateraic from my left eye. so, needless to say, I didn't get out yesterday to shoot. But, Never say never...

We were entertained at yet another great baseball game with our Grandson Tarin. Rain or not, we were there.

yet  another miserable wet day out, but, I did manage to get out for a bit with my trusty D60.

Some wonderful  young ladies I met through  our Grandson were nice enough to allow me to capture them at the last game.

I took the liberty of experimenting a little with some textures and actions. Still learning.

Today was not a fantastic day by any means, but, I still managed  to get a couple photos in.

a jay of some kind that beats up on all the little birds who are trying to eat.

one of the little guys waiting his turn so he don't get the heck beat out of him by the jays...hahaha

and.. I was bored so I thought I would try a little texture work on this great flower arrangement  of my 

Daughter-in-Law.

Today was our Granddaughter Janae's 5th Birthday.

It was so much fun.

I will be sharing more in the next few days of some of the other who were there to share in the fun...

sometimes, she can look plain " evil "

But, then again. She does this look...

Our Son the coach, teacher,ect had his first track meet for this year and the wife and I had the pleasure of attending.

I love this time of year. The track, the kids, baseball...and all the trimmings...

so exciting.

When I can, I try to go to the track and work with the various coaches taking photos so they can use them to show the athletes what they're doing right and wrong.

Then I go to the various track meets and shoot also.

The kids are just great to me.

you can bet I will be sharing more as I go along, Hope no one gets bored with it.

Today was an all together different day for me.

At todays game I had some really great subjects for candid captures. So, let me share a few.

I wanted to show how I normally come home with the shot I like and then, try to make it presentable to them when I go back to the next game.

Kate Young, who lives back east.

she has shown me so many wonderful thing I can do with photography in the last few years.

Here is a sample of what she has been showing me lately.

I went out in the rain with my 60mm Macro lens and did a little experimenting ...

...and also applied some textures to my work.
