Our Son planted a rose bush for his Daughter. it was her responsibility to take care of it. Kinda like a puppy without fleas

She did a real good job for the first time

09-27-10

My wife and I had a ball today. We went to our sons and watch him and his little ones pick their first ever fresh corn from their garden.

What a great and memorable moment.

They've been watering, and weeding and tending to these few little stocks all summer. And now is the big day...hahaha

Grandma held the bowl as they all took turns picking one by one.

Each ear was better then the last until they were all gone.

There were enough for a good dinner or two.
And they were proud as punch that they had done so well.

I wouldn't want to have to buy the butter for that group...hahaha

09-23-10

Today was a fun yet unproductive day.

Started off good. I made Banana pancakes for the wife and we enjoys a quiet lazy breakfast together...

after a morning of coffee and banter with my honey, I decided to see if I could find anything in the yard of interest... Not really anything seem to catch the eye.

Later in the day I had to make a choice of what sounds good for dinner...hummmm tough call.

But not matter what it is...it will be good.

See you tomorrow.

I've been having so much fun with this new Macro business
and I appreciate all the help that I am getting from family and friends.

This is the top of a fence post on the fence between and my neighbors house. It's been there for well over thirty years and now is starting to fall apart. I found it interesting to say the least.

it's all like another world...

Wow... what a fantastic weekend of sports.
Our Grandson Tarin had a total rain out at his
high school football game Friday night., I felt so
sorry for team and the cheerleaders. It poured .

I call this shadows in the rain. Cool , huh?

These poor girls got soaked to the skin.

Then the next morning the sun came out
but only long enough for the guys to get in
a quick 9 innings of baseball.

Tarin is #23 on the baseball team.

stealing like a thief in the night...get it buddy.

My lovely  wife and I took us a little road trip to a little town on the North East tip of the Olympic peninsula called
Port Townsend.

I understand that over the weekend they had a " Tall ship " festival with many many ships .

We were lucky enough to catch this one on it's way out...

It is so much fun sharing what you enjoy doing with others who seem to have the same interest. The young and attractive part is just a bonus...right?
