12-28-10

I must apologize to those of you kind enough to read my blog from time to time... I have become lazy in the holiday season.

The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up.

I do however promise to do better in the near future.

12-23-10

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.

Our Granddaughter Naomi ( in the center ) sang in church this past Sunday

I have to admit, Jingle Bells never sounded more perfect in my life.

The three of them were sooo proud of their accomplishment.

I'm sure the Good Lords smiled as well...

Today at our Granddaughter's Sunday School they shared a little program in which she sang...

How can one help shivering with delight when one's hot fingers close around the stem of a live flower, cool from the shade and stiff with newborn vigor!  ~Colette

12-14-10

I love it when I get a chance to show off a little.
Below are a few portraits I came up with to share.

I've learned that from my side of the camera it is a game of what do I want you to feel and I see....

It can be beautiful , ugly, even painful sometimes...

But, it is alway...different.

And most often, from the heart.

12-10-10

We attended a grade school concert last night to listen to one of our Grandsons sing and while there this little lady caught my eye. She was so funny. It was like she was trying to find the perfect note some where and just couldn't find it...

HAHAHA

Wait...it's coming...wait....

12-09-10

Attended a wrestling match with our oldest Grandson Tarin.

This isn't one of my favorite sports, but I have got to admit, it was a kick to watch.

And Tarin did alright for the first match of the season.
( he's on the left )

I think this is going to be a real challenge. There is no flash allowed. So, I had to be creative.

Hopefully, I will get better as the season goes on.

12-8-10

I've learned living in the Pacific Northwest that there are two things you can count on...

Beauty and rain.

I remember as a young man being told that if you couldn't see the mountain it was because it was raining, and if you could see the mountain it ment it was going to rain....

Have a great day.
